This book has a great overview and introduction of all the basic techniques that are essential for Kaiseki Cuisine. If you are a beginner it’s a wonderful ressource to getting into the topic and you are sure to learn lots of new things along the way!

It might not be the most exciting thing ever, but it delivers exactely what it is supposed to deliver! In that sense you get exactely what you pay for and that in itself is fantastic. It is also a really great alternative to the out of print book called “Mukoita” that I introduced on here as well and cheaper too.
